Official Game Conditions for the SPORT SELECT Ultimate Fan Cave Contest (the “Contest”)

This Contest will run and entries will be accepted until 04:30:00 p.m. CT on March 31, 2022.

CONTEST ELIGIBILITY

This Contest is being offered by Western Canada Lottery Corporation (“WCLC”) and is open only to residents of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, who are 18 years of age or older, have signed up as a member of WCLC’s MVP Service and have purchased a SPORT SELECT, SPORT SELECT POOLS and/or SPORT SELECT FUTURES ticket between March 1, 2022 and March 31, 2022 inclusive, at participating retailers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon, Northwest Territories or Nunavut.

WCLC, Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (“AGLC”), Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (“MBLL”), Sask Lotteries, Lotteries Yukon, NWT & Nunavut Lotteries, and Splashdot Inc. and their respective directors, officers and employees, as well as immediate family members of the aforementioned, are ineligible to participate in the Contest. In addition: (i) WCLC lottery retailers; (ii) the directors and officers of WCLC lottery retailers; and (iii) the employees and independent contractors of WCLC lottery retailers who are engaged in “Lottery Activities” as part of their work duties or who directly supervise other employees or independent contractors that are engaged in “Lottery Activities”; are ineligible to participate in the Contest. For the purposes of these Official Game Conditions “Lottery Activities” means any activity related to the design, production, manufacture, distribution, sale, prize payment, regulation, or investigation of lottery tickets.

Proof of age and residency will be required from all Contest winners prior to payment of any prizes. WCLC may also require a winner to provide the original ticket corresponding to the Contest entry drawn by WCLC. The decision of WCLC is final with respect to the eligibility of any Contest entry and the award of any prize.

PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST

In order to participate in the Contest, you must be a member of WCLC’s MVP Service and you must register for and then enter the Contest. If you are not already a member of MVP Service, you can sign up to become a member as part of the Contest registration process prior to entering the Contest.

A. How to Register:

To register, visit sportselect.com from a computer or mobile device located in Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Northwest Territories or Nunavut, click the ULTIMATE FAN CAVE Contest link, complete the Registration page and click “Submit” after having acknowledged that you have read and agree to abide by these Official Game Conditions and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy for the Contest.

If you are signing up as a member of MVP Service as part of the Contest registration process, you will also have to read and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the MVP Service privacy policy.

Current MVP Service members can use their MVP Service login information as part of the registration process.

You are only allowed to register for the Contest once. More than one (1) registration per person will make ALL entries submitted by said person invalid. Once registered, only your email address and password will be required each time you visit the Contest site.

B. How to Enter:

After you have registered, go to the ENTER TICKETS page and manually enter the 18-digit control number located below the SPORT SELECT logo on your valid SPORT SELECT, SPORT SELECT POOLS and/or SPORT SELECT FUTURES ticket(s) purchased from an authorized WCLC retailer between March 1, 2022 and March 31, 2022 (inclusive) or use your mobile device to scan the barcode located at the bottom of your ticket and then click SUBMIT. All entries must be completed by 04:30pm CT on March 31, 2022. A participant will receive one (1) Contest entry for every valid SPORT SELECT, SPORT SELECT POOLS or SPORT SELECT FUTURES ticket control number/barcode entered by that participant. Participants may enter a maximum of twenty-five (25) ticket control numbers/barcodes per person per day, however, an individual ticket control number/barcode may only be entered once during the Contest. A participant will also receive one hundred (100) bonus Contest entries when they have entered at least one ticket control number/barcode from each product (SPORT SELECT, SPORT SELECT POOLS and SPORT SELECT FUTURES) in the same Weekly Draw Entry Period (see below for the respective Weekly Draw Entry Periods).

Important: KEEP YOUR TICKETS THAT YOU USED TO ENTER THE CONTEST. To be eligible for a prize, a Contest participant may be asked to provide the original ticket corresponding to the Contest entry drawn by WCLC.

DRAWS AND PRIZES

Weekly Draws

On or about every Friday beginning on March 11, 2022, and up to and including April 1, 2022, draws for four (4) prize winners will be made from the eligible entries received during the specified entry period. All eligible entries for the specified entry period will be divided by region prior to the draws and the prizes for each Weekly Draw will be awarded as follows:

The entry periods and the corresponding prize draw dates for the respective Contest Weekly Draws are as follows:

Contest entries received during the applicable Weekly Draw Entry Period will be eligible for that corresponding week’s prize draw and will also be carried over as eligible entries for the Grand Prize Draw.

Grand Prize Draw

On or about April 7, 2022, the Grand Prize Draw for one prize winner will be made from all eligible Contest entries received during the full Contest entry period of March 1, 2022 09:00:00am CT – March 31, 2022 04:30:00pm CT.

A number of Alternate entries will also be drawn for each draw. In the event that a winner drawn for any one of the Contest draw prizes is subsequently disqualified or otherwise determined to be ineligible for the Contest, the prize may, if time permits, be awarded to the first eligible alternate Contest entry drawn, and so on.

Each registered participant whose Contest entry is selected and deemed eligible will be required to correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question in order to be declared a winner. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the entry.

Weekly Draw Prizes

Each Weekly Draw prize is a $500 prize pack including a gift card to Fanatics.ca.

Grand Prize Draw Prize

The Grand Prize Draw Prize is an Ultimate Fan Cave package as selected by WCLC valued at approximately $10,000 consisting of:

• One (3-Seat) Premium Grain 9000 Leather Power Reclining Loveseat with LED Lighting,
• One Freestanding Bar Fridge – Red,
• One HW-Q800T Soundbar System BLACK,

• One Soft Tip Electronic Dart Board, and
• One Popcorn Maker with Cart;

Or, at the option of the winner, $10,000.00 cash.

DELIVERY OF PRIZES

1. WCLC will attempt to notify the prize draw winners by telephone and/or email as soon as possible after the draws have been made.
2. All prize draw winners must provide WCLC with the following on or before May 5, 2022: a completed and signed Acknowledgement and Release form and a photocopy of their valid driver’s license, government issued photo ID or other suitable identification verifying their age and residency. Winners may also be asked to provide the original ticket corresponding to the Contest entry drawn by WCLC. Failure to provide any of the above will result in the winner waiving his/her rights to the prize.
3. Winners should allow approximately 6 weeks from receipt of required information at WCLC for delivery of prize.

GENERAL RULES

1. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, are not transferable or assignable and will be available to the winner only upon compliance with these Official Game Conditions, verification of his/her eligibility, and receipt by WCLC of all required information, and, when requested by WCLC, the original ticket corresponding to the Contest entry drawn by WCLC. WCLC also has the right, at its sole discretion, to make prize substitutions of equivalent kind and value in the event of unavailability of any specified prize for reasons beyond WCLC’s control.
2. In order to be declared a winner, each registered participant whose Contest entry is selected and deemed eligible will be required to correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the Contest entry.
3. The registered participant’s name, age, postal code, daytime phone number, evening phone number and email address must be correct and valid at the time of Contest entry in their Contest registration to be considered a winner. Registered participants are responsible for advising WCLC of any changes to their address or phone numbers subsequent to their Contest entry.
4. Though reasonable efforts will be made to correctly identify and contact winners, WCLC reserves the right to disqualify any selected participant on the basis that a Contest entry is ineligible, an email address or phone number is incorrect or invalid, an entrant has registered for the Contest more than once, or WCLC is otherwise unable to contact or locate a participant who is drawn for a prize.
5. The chance of being selected in a draw is dependent upon the number of Contest entries received for that draw.
6. Participants who do not meet eligibility requirements or who have registered through fraudulent means or have provided false or misleading information will be disqualified. WCLC will not be responsible for failed registration attempts, technical malfunctions or computer or other errors for any reason whatsoever.
7. Entries received during the applicable Weekly Draw Entry Period are eligible for that corresponding week’s prize draw and will not carry over into subsequent weekly prize draws.
8. By entering this Contest, participants agree to release and hold harmless WCLC, AGLC, MBLL, Sask Lotteries, Lotteries Yukon, NWT & Nunavut Lotteries, retailers of WCLC and WCLC advertising and promotional agencies (collectively “Released Parties”), and the respective shareholders, directors, officers, members, employees and agents of the Released Parties from any claim, loss, demand, action, cause of action, expense, delay, accident, injury or other liability arising from participation in this Contest or the awarding, acceptance or use of any prize awarded under the Contest.
9. Decisions of WCLC with respect to this Contest are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and prize awards.
10. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Prizes not claimed as described above on or before May 5, 2022:, will not be awarded.
11. All prize draw winners will be required to sign an Acknowledgement and Release confirming Contest eligibility and compliance with the Contest’s Official Game Conditions and releasing the Released Parties and the respective shareholders, directors, officers, members, employees and agents of the Released Parties from any liability in connection with the conduct of the Contest or the awarding of prizes before receiving their prize.
12. By entering the Contest, winners agree to allow WCLC and its agents to publish, and/or broadcast their names, likenesses, city or town of residence and statements at any time, and from time to time, in connection with the Contest for the purposes of advertising, publicity and promotion in any matter or media, without compensation other than the prize awarded.
13. WCLC is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing the Contest draws or awarding any prize in the event of circumstances beyond the control of WCLC.
14. All draws will adhere to the draw procedures established for the draw by WCLC.
15. Any individual who tampers with the Contest entry process or the operation of the Contest or acts in violation of these Official Game Conditions or otherwise in a disruptive manner will be disqualified.
16. These Official Game Conditions govern the ULTIMATE FAN CAVE Contest and must be followed. In the event of any discrepancy between these Official Game Conditions and any other material, these Official Game Conditions prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
